The Thermal Spa of Ischia Where Wellness Meets the Sea
Overlooking the Gulf of Naples and surrounded by Mediterranean greenery, Parco Termale Castiglione is a place dedicated to relaxation, natural wellbeing, and the pleasure of slowing down.
Since 1977, the park has welcomed guests among panoramic thermal pools, wellness paths, and relaxation areas overlooking the sea, in the heart of the island of Ischia.
The park is open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and offers free parking, changing rooms, showers, and lockers.
Parco Termale Castiglione features 10 pools, including 2 indoor pools, all supplied with natural thermal water at different temperatures. The experience is completed by Kneipp paths, Turkish baths, whirlpools, thermal waterfalls, and a wellness centre dedicated to spa treatments and thermal therapies.
Every area of the park has been designed to offer tranquility and comfort, among panoramic terraces, Mediterranean gardens, and private spaces where guests can experience the wellness of Ischia in complete relaxation and privacy.
When purchasing the entrance ticket, guests may choose their preferred area among panoramic terraces, poolside areas, or the beach area, with sun umbrella and sunbeds or deck chairs included.
To ensure greater comfort and relaxation, the selected station will remain reserved for the entire duration of the stay in the park.
THE PARK’S THERMAL POOLS
Olympic: Sea water with varying temperatures depending on weather conditions. Accessible to children under 12.
Perene : Temperature of 30°. Accessible to children under 12.
Aegina: Temperature of 38°, with attached rock-cut thermal waterfalls. Access is granted to children over 12 years old and it’s not recommended for pregnant people or those under treatment.
Lotus and Freshwater Basin: temperature of 40°C and 20°. Access is granted to children over 12 years old and it’s not recommended for pregnant people or those under treatment.
Leukotea : Temperature of 32°, hydro-massage and toning waterfalls. Access is granted to children over 12 years old and it’s not recommended for pregnant people or those under treatment.
Kalypso : Temperature at 34° and hydro-massage. Access is granted to children over 12 years old and it’s not recommended for pregnant people or those under treatment.
Oinone e Dione : these 2 pools face each other. The former with a temperature of 36°C, the latter at 32°C, both with hydro-massage and rain cover. Access is granted to children over 12 years old and it’s not recommended for pregnant people or those under treatment.
Nizzola : Seawater pool with variable temperatures depending on weather conditions. Located in close proximity to the sauna, it is ideal for hot-cold contrast. Access is granted to children over 12 years old and it’s not recommended for pregnant people or those under treatment.
THE CASTIGLIONE PARK THERMAL WATERS
The thermal waters of Castiglione originate from the volcanic heart of the island of Ischia and naturally emerge at temperatures reaching up to 70°C.
Rich in mineral salts, bicarbonates, and sulphates, they supply the park’s pools while preserving all the beneficial properties of thermal water directly captured from the spring source.
For centuries, Ischia’s thermal waters have been renowned for their relaxing and regenerating effects on body and mind, promoting muscular wellbeing, circulation, and the restoration of the body’s natural balance.
